Game Fish Status Bill? WHAT ARE THEY SMOKING?

1.)    Why outlaw commercial harvest when the recreational kill is three to ten times as much?

2.)     Why outlaw nets that are 100 times more selective in size of fish taken?

3.)     Why deny NC citizens fresh seafood because of race and or financial status?

4.)     Why deter tourism?

5.)     Why create a welfare community east of interstate 95?

6.)     Why create a playground in coastal welfare communities (created by H353) for the wealthy?

7.)     Why (in this economy, or any other) would you kill tens of thousands of honorable jobs?

8.)     Why promote filthy imported seafood?

9.)     Why not promote sustainably managed, locally harvested, fresh seafood?

10.)  Why deprive restaurants and patrons historical fare?

11.)  Surely you have more important things to do in Raleigh than destroy communities by passing senseless, selfish, job eliminating, revenue negative laws.  I hope the law makers voting for this bill research the Fisheries Reform Act of 1997 and educate themselves on fisheries regulation.

12.)  The funniest thing you hear from Raleigh is  “well every other state has done it."
