In voting against catch shares for the commercial snapper-grouper fishery, it all came down to keeping their word, members of a federal fishery management panel said.
"We told fishermen that we would not force [catch shares] on them if they didn't want it," said Sebastian resident George Geiger, a Florida appointee to the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council.

I know I'll sleep better knowing that they kept their word.
Lets watch their re-allocation votes on snapper-grouper and other species.
Because with catch shares they wouldn't get what they wanted.
