Evaluating the Social and Economic Outcomes of Catch Share Programs in the Northeast

The Social Sciences Branch of the NMFS Northeast Fisheries Science Center is looking for feedback on our plans to measure the way catch share programs are affecting permit holders, crew, households, communities, dealers, processors and other groups. Over the past year we have worked hard to develop a draft plan to measure these impacts. This process included input from a broad range of stakeholder groups as well as academics.

We would like to hear from you to help understand whether this plan as developed so far will get at the key issues/ impacts of catch share programs. Your response will help us decide where we should focus our attention and what information is most important to fully appreciate how catch share programs have affected or might affect you.
