The Great Disappearing Acts by Merlin the Magician AKA Jane Lubchenco

The invisible government has a magician heading NOAA, Jane Lubchenco. I
will refer to her as Merlin. Merlin has made the oil in the Gulf
disappear. Science, fish, truth, accountability, jobs, and heritage have
vanished also. Now, if we eat the Gulf seafood, we too may disappear.

Merlin's magic is also strong in the Northeast commercial fishing
businesses. Her magic wand has made our fish, fishermen, science, jobs,
Magnuson Stevens Act, Constitution and Elected Officials disappear.  The
future fish consumed may look like fish taste like fish but be genetically
engineered.

Our recreational friends should know-we've heard Merlin has set her sights
on you. A world where no fishing exists? This can't be or can it?
Remember: science has vanished, accountability is absent, we are losing
jobs, laws are being ignored, politicians are ineffective, no oil is seen,
unbiased media is disappearing and fishermen are being lost. "Catch
Shares" is your solution, claims Merlin; if you can afford to pay to fish.

Executive Order by President Obama, has taken control of state waters with
its National Ocean Council. Feds claim to know what is best for our local
waters. Remember walruses in BP's Gulf Response Plan? It appears the
government through Gulf dispersant use, lacks the most basic of
laws-"Don't s#*t where you eat".

Ocean Zoning: Windmills designed -to -fail, oil and gas drilling, mining
gravel, diseased aquaculture, and MPA's (marine protected areas)-areas
full of regulations to stop the fishermen and hinder boaters. Oddly, the
oil companies seem to embrace MPA's. Some of the "blue ribbon" panel
members have conflict of interest issues. Maybe like Sea World and
Monterey Bay aquarium, MPA's will charge us admission?

We seem to be embarked on a journey back to Feudalism. Only the wealthy
will be able to purchase fish and fishing rights. Real fishermen will be
sharecroppers. The consumer will pay more because of rent fees. We will
have invisible fences on the water. Water real estate will have the global
corporations drooling for a piece of the action.

I think like any good magician, Merlin is using diversion.  We are focused
on losing our jobs, boats, houses and fish as our communities crumble due
to unnecessary consolidation. All the while the Executive Order, National
Ocean Council, Ocean Zoning, CLEAR Act HR 3534 and the Law of the Sea
Treaty (LOST) may have us losing our sovereignty of waters to the United
Nations.

Perhaps, if we engage "All the King's Men" (politicians), and they hold up
a mirror-Merlin's spell will be reversed and she will vanish from our
kingdom forever. Someone should tell the Emperor Obama- Merlin has taken
his clothes.
