A safety campaign since last fall has found 15 commercial fishing boats in the mid-Atlantic region had incorrect registrations for their emergency position indicating radio beacons a dangerous error that was implicated in the deaths of six Cape May fishermen when the scallop boat Lady Mary sank in March 2009.
