NC SPIN says they are hearing that current Secretary Bill Ross, assistant Secretary Robin Smith, Richard Rogers, and former UNCW chancellor and former MFC member Jim Leutze could be considered for Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in the Perdue administration. NC SPIN also is hearing that Leutze could replace Senator R.C. Soles "when the Colombus County Senator is indicted and forced to resign his office."
